Eastgate’s Ragozine Earns OhioCED Certification
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Eastgate Regional Council of Governments recently announced that Mark Ragozine has received the Ohio Certified Economic Developer certification from the Ohio Economic Development Association.
Ragozine is the economic development project manager at Eastgate. The credential is designed to demonstrate the depth and breadth of an individual’s knowledge and ability to apply that knowledge to the benefit their community. The designation also represents the practitioner’s commitment to advancing the Ohio economy and elevating the economic development profession.
To become a candidate for certification, a professional must be a member of the Ohio Economic Development Association and have successfully completed core courses and the capstone course.
The five core courses are real estate development, business retention and expansion, site selection and site development, economic development financing and incentives, and workforce and talent.
