Eastwood Mall to Celebrate Softball Team’s Perfect Season
NILES, Ohio – A celebration is planned for the Neshannock High School softball team, which finished the season 26-0 and captured the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class AA championship.
A Champions Rally will take place at 2 p.m. Monday at the mall’s Center Court. The public is invited to attend to help congratulate the team.
In addition to the celebration, the Cafaro Foundation will make a donation to the school.
The Lancers defeated South Williamsport, 12-2, on June 14 to win the championship.
