HERMITAGE, Pa. – The eCenter@LindenPointe will conduct a regional and national search for a new executive director, following the announcement that Yvonne English, the executive director, has been named executive director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Grove City College.
“During her five years at the helm, Yvonne has been instrumental in developing the eCentre into one of the region’s most influential and high-impact institutions,” said Craig Columbus, chairman of the LindenPointe Development Corp. board of directors.
The nonprofit technology business incubator opened in 2011 and began accepting clients the following year. Since its founding, the eCenter has served 22 clients and has graduated six companies including Empire Streaming, Sand Chariot, BuzzBurrito, GuavaBox, Rooted Beauty and Gecko Robotics.
“I have been extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to build the eCenter@LindenPointe with the help of an amazing community. Together, we have made a real impact on the Oh-Penn region by providing the resources and support to assist entrepreneurs to build meaningful companies,” English said.
During English’s tenure, the eCenter received 2012 Phoenix award regionally and was recognized as the 2013 Economic Development Project of the Year by the Pennsylvania Economic Development Association.
