ECMSI Reports 14.7% Increase in Business

STRUTHERS, Ohio – Executive Computer Management Solutions Inc. enjoyed a 14.7% increase in business last year as it bucked the “great resignation” trend and hired more staff.

By diversifying its hiring practices, ECMSI added six people, bringing its staff to 36, says Shane Nesbitt, spokesman for the Struthers-based managed IT service provider. This enabled the company to build out its network operations center team and strengthen vendor relationships.

“We have some of the top technicians within our region with an experienced and educational knowledge base,” Nesbitt says. “Our proactiveness is second-to-none.”

Integrating Microsoft products improved communications internally and for its partners, Nesbitt says.

This was important as the company shifted from in-person work to a remote workforce.

“We’ve seen an uptick in the use of communication platforms to assist in the collaboration among remote workers,” he says.

Opening new lines of business, such as its advanced security suite, allowed ECMSI to increase its market share and client base, Nesbitt says.

In 2021, ECMSI invested in advanced IT products for its clients, particularly to enhance email security and “add an extra layer to their email protection,” he says.

This year, ECMSI is considering opening additional offices as it invests more in employee growth and education. The company is also planning to introduce new IT security products to protect its clients, Nesbitt says.

While the company anticipates hardware shortages and longer shipping lead times, ECMSI is eyeing a year-over-year growth target of at least 16%, particularly with managed service provider offerings.

“There’s a huge upside to the MSP industry,” Nesbitt says. “Companies are looking to advance their security [and] there’s nationwide consolidation of businesses.”
