Edgewood Surgical Accepts UPMC Health Plan
TRANSFER, Pa. — Edgewood Surgical is now accepting UPMC Health Plan insurances for inpatient and outpatient procedures, according to a release.
UPMC Health Plan serves more than 3.4 million members in Pennsylvania with an active provider network of more than 140 hospitals and nearly 24,000 physicians.
State Sen. Michele Brooks, R-50, supported the partnership to advocate for access to affordable health care, according to the release.
“We are extremely grateful to Senator Michele Brooks for all her help in facilitating the provider approval process with UPMC Health Plan,” said Tom Roskos, Edgewood CEO. “This partnership with UPMC Health Plan allows our excellent facilities to fill a void and provide a new opportunity for the community receive superior health care.”
