POLAND – Promoting whole-person wellness and providing a diverse and enriching employee experience remained at the forefront for Pharmacy Data Management Inc. in 2022.
The Poland-based provider of technology and specialized solutions for managing health through prescription drug programs continued to build its business portfolio. It posted 9% growth for its pharmacy benefits administration segment and 19% growth for its administration of a federal drug-pricing program.
Through this growth, leadership remained focused on deepening its commitment to its employees, a fact made evident by its being named to the best employers in Ohio list for the second consecutive year.
“What we do daily is in constant service to our mission of better health. That not only goes to the clients that we serve across the country but the team members who have chosen PDMI as their place of employment,” says Doug Wittenauer, founder and CEO.
As a result of ongoing surveying, the organization’s already robust benefits package was enhanced with the addition of voluntary life insurance and a paid parental leave policy.
A diversity, equity and inclusion employee council was established in 2022. The team spent the year analyzing focus group data to identify high priority items and create a roadmap for DEI initiatives.
“Implementing the talent network and careers page has been hugely beneficial to the recruitment process,” says Emily Leonard, recruitment and retention specialist. “Candidates can submit their resume and when we have openings that align with their skills, we initiate that conversation knowing they’ve already seen our careers page, which highlights who we are as an organization. It’s helped us build a steady pipeline of remote talent from across the country already familiar with our brand and what we do.”
