Entertainment Outlook | Slapshots and ‘Stomp!’

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Wish You Were Here last payed the Mahoning Valley in August, attracting an overflow crowd to the Warren Community Amphitheatre.

At least 2,000 folks turned out on that hot night  summer night to catch the Pink Floyd tribute act.

Wish You Were Here will return Saturday for an 8 p.m. performance at the Robins Theatre in Warren. The act is known for its faithful reproduction of the Pink Floyd concert experience that includes lighting and props.

This also happens to be a hockey weekend in Youngstown. The Phantoms will take on the Muskegon Lumberjacks in USHL action Friday and Saturday at Covelli Centre. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. both nights. For tickets, click HERE.

Classical music lovers can catch Cuarteto Latinoamericano at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Ford Family Recital Hall in downtown Youngstown. To learn more about the acclaimed quartet, click HERE.

Stomp!, the acclaimed percussive stage show, has been stomping around the globe for more than 20 years. It will make its way to Youngstown’s Powers Auditorium on Tuesday, Feb. 22, for an 8 p.m. performance.
