EPA Administrator Tours Youngstown
Mayor Jamael Tito Brown and U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson, R-6 Ohio, met with Andrew Wheeler, administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency, to discuss Brownfield sites across the Youngstown area.
The group met at the site of the former “Wick 6” dealerships on Wick Avenue in Youngstown. The land has been owned by the city for over two decades. Brown said the goal is to clean up the property so it can house businesses in the future.
“The only way we get things done is that people have to see that we’re all on one page,” Brown said.
