ESC of Eastern Ohio to Host Recruitment Events

CANFIELD, Ohio – The Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio is searching for substitute teachers for the 2023-24 school year.

The educational organization at 7320 N. Palmyra Road will host recruitment events from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 4 and 16 and Sept. 15.

Anyone with an associate’s degree or higher is eligible to substitute teach. The Mahoning Valley Regional Council of Governments assists candidates with the process to become a substitute teacher.

School districts and educational organizations in need of substitute teachers include Austintown, Boardman, Campbell, Canfield, ESC of Eastern Ohio, Lowellville, Mahoning County Career & Technical Center, Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Poland and Struthers.
