Ground Broken on MCCTC Expansion Project
CANFIELD, Ohio – Mahoning County Career & Technical Center broke ground Wednesday on a $15 million expansion project, funded in part by $11.4 million in grant money allocated by the governor’s office to enhance education and training facilities across the state.
“This funding will support the construction costs for a new 35,000-square-foot facility,” says John Zehentbauer, superintendent of MCCTC. “The space will enhance collaboration among students through a hub designed for joint learning and teamwork across five area programs.”
