NORTH LIMA, Ohio – FairBridge Inn Express on Market Street has been sold for $1.5 million, according to records from the Mahoning County auditor.
KKK INN LLC, the purchaser of the two-story motel, is owned by Narendrakumar Patel, according to Ohio business records. A fictitious name registration also was filed for the business to continue operating as the FairBridge Inn.
The motel, which was built in 1956 and remodeled in 2006, sits on 1.95 acres, according to Mahoning County tax records. It was previously owned by Lakhsh Inc., which purchased the property in January 2006.
Located near the Ohio Turnpike and near the Willow Crest Interchange, the FairBridge Inn Express sits next to Steamers Stonewall Tavern.
The area south of the interchange has had recent growth, with the opening of the new Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores in June. Additionally, it is convenient to a Speedway plaza, a Pilot plaza, fast food restaurants, other hotels and motels and Chalet Premier Beer & Wine.
The FairBridge Inn touts itself as “unfussy,” with amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, satellite TV, minifridges, jacuzzis, coin operated laundry and meeting space. It offers exterior entrance rooms with parking outside the door.
