Farmers Appoints Gay as Director of Retail Banking

CANFIELD, Ohio — Farmers National Bank has appointed Zachary Gay to the position of director of retail banking.

In this new role, Gay will be overseeing day-to-day retail operations throughout the Farmers footprint in northeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania. He will also lead the retail support team.

Gay has more than a decade of experience in financial analysis and retail strategic planning. He joined Farmers in 2022 as vice president, senior retail banking analyst. In that position, Gay was responsible for providing data, reporting and analyses for retail banking, consumer lending and small business lending areas.

“We are ecstatic to have Zach as a leader of our branch sales, service, and operational initiatives here at Farmers,” says Amber Wallace, senior executive vice president, chief retail & marketing officer. “He brings with him years of experience in sales, research, pricing, and detailed analysis that are going to greatly impact our retail team.”

Before joining Farmers, Gay was vice president, senior business analyst for another financial institution in the region. He graduated from Franklin University with a B.S. in financial management.
