Farmers Bank Adds Cottrell to PA Mortgage Team
CANFIELD, Ohio – Farmers National Bank is expanding its mortgage lending team in Pennsylvania with the hiring of Greg “Skippy” Cottrell as a mortgage loan officer based in Cranberry Township, Pa.
Cottrell brings years of experience to the Farmers team. Not only has he worked in residential lending previously, but he has also been an advocate for the real estate and lending industries through his involvement in the Realtors and Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and other groups.
“Buying or building a home is the biggest financial decision a person will make in their lifetime,” Cottrell says. “That’s why having a mortgage lending officer who understands their options and both the short and long-term impact is crucial to making that decision.”
Cottrell has been involved in the Young Erie Professionals and recently served on the board of the Williston Chamber of Commerce before moving back to western Pennsylvania.
Rick Hughes, senior mortgage sales manager for Farmers, calls Cottrell a great asset.
“Skippy will help us grow our mortgage team in Western and Central Pennsylvania,” Hughes says. “He’s going to be an integral part of our team, working alongside experienced lenders who are all committed to helping clients achieve their dream of home ownership.”
