Farmers Grows Mortgage Lending Team in PA with New Hire

CANFIELD, Ohio — Farmers National Bank is growing its mortgage lending team in the Western Pennsylvania market with the recent hire of Rick Hughes as vice president, senior mortgage sales manager. Hughes will be based in Aspinwall, one of several locations Farmers acquired through its recent merger with Farmers National Bank of Emlenton.

Hughes is bringing decades of experience to the Farmers team. He has been in mortgage lending since 1995. Over the years, Hughes has advocated for the real estate and financial services industry through his involvement in the Realtors Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh, the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Southwestern PA.

Hughes says his goal is to keep growing the mortgage team at Farmers National Bank in western and central Pennsylvania.

“Every day, Farmers is expanding its ability to help people in Pennsylvania reach their goal of owning a home. Rick is going to be crucial in helping make that happen,” says Rocky Page, vice president, director of mortgage sales. “Rick is knowledgeable and experienced not just in this industry but also in the communities in which he’s serving. We can’t wait to see all the people who he helps.”
