Farmers Named Ohio’s Top-Performing Bank
CANFIELD, Ohio – Bank Director Magazine has ranked Farmers National Bank 30th on its list of the country’s top-performing bank, as well as No. 1 in Ohio.
The grades apply to publicly-traded banks with assets between $1 billion and $5 billion.
In its annual Bank Scorecard Report, Bank Director rated the country’s banks on a broad range of performance measures, with particular focus on profitability, capital security and asset quality. Farmers significantly outperformed all other Ohio banks in its class to secure this year’s honors.
Farmers’ president and CEO, Kevin J. Helmick, says the ranking is both an honor and validation.
“High performance that maximizes our value for our shareholders, customers and employees is always our priority,” Helmick says. “I am continually made proud by our management team and associates for their remarkable commitment to improving and growing our local businesses and communities.”
Farmers National Bank has more than $2 billion in banking assets and over $1 billion in trust assets.
