Farmers Names Dean to Lead Treasury Management

Farmers National Bank has hired Jim C. Dean as manager of business deposits and services. Dean will lead the bank’s Treasury Management Division and develop strategies for generating new business deposit opportunities while growing existing accounts. Treasury management divisions in community banks, such as Farmers, manage a client company’s holdings while mitigating the customer’s financial risks, noted Mark Witmer, chief banking officer at Farmers, in announcing Dean’s appointment. Dean earned his B.S.B.A. from John Carroll University and MBA from Baldwin Wallace University. He worked at banks and financial services companies in Ohio, North Carolina and Wisconsin, and earned his Certified Treasury Professional designation from the Association for Financial Professionals.
