Farmers Pet Supply Drive to Benefit Local Animal Shelters
CANFIELD, Ohio – Farmers National Bank is hosting a pet supply drive throughout June that will benefit local animal shelters.
During “The Dog Days of Summer” campaign, anyone is welcome to drop off pet supplies at one of the bank’s 65 branches in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Items can include but are not limited to:
- Treats;
- Collars;
- Leashes;
- Bowls;
- Blankets/towels;
- Bedding;
- Paper towels;
- Pet toys;
- Cleaning supplies.
People also can pay $1 or more to write their name on a paw print that will be displayed in the bank during the campaign.
All proceeds and donated items will go to local animal shelters, which were chosen by each branch. At the end of the campaign, Farmers employees will deliver the supplies and money to the designated animal shelters.
“This is our way of caring for our community,” said Amber Wallace, Farmers’ chief retail and marketing officer. “Farmers National Bank is rock solid, and we want to make sure our nonprofits are rock solid too. This is our way of helping and reinvesting into our community at every chance we get.”
