Farmers Promotes Fry to Senior VP, Commercial Banking Team Leader in Pa.
CANFIELD, Ohio – Farmers National Bank has promoted Joshua Fye to senior vice president, commercial banking team leader in Pennsylvania.
Fye came to Farmers National Bank of Canfield through the recent merger with Farmers National Bank of Emlenton, where he worked since 2012. Before this promotion, Fye was serving as the company’s vice president and senior relationship manager, commercial lending.
“I’m excited to begin my new role with Farmers,” Fye says. “Pennsylvania has always been home to me, and I’m ready to keep serving the region in a new way.”
Fye has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial banking sector. He earned his B.S.B.A. degree from Clarion University in 2000, then his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009.
He has served on the board of Community Development Corporation of Butler County since 2010 and helped the United Way of Butler County.
“Josh is a perfect fit for this role,” says Bill Shivers, chief commercial lending officer for Farmers National Bank. “He’s already been a great asset to our team and we can’t wait to see all that he is able to do for Pennsylvania in this new position.”
