Farmers Promotes Troyer to Commercial Banking Team Leader

CANFIELD, Ohio — Farmers National Bank announced this week the promotion of long-time employee Justin Troyer to vice president, commercial banking team leader where he will work out of the company’s Kidron and Orrville offices.

Troyer has been with Farmers since 2014 – first as a branch manager, then as a mortgage loan consultant and now as commercial banking team leader. In his new position, Troyer will be working with business customers on their financing/deposit needs and leading a team of commercial lenders.

Troyer has lived in the Wayne County area his whole life. He graduated from Dalton High School and Malone University with a degree in business administration.

THe serves as treasurer for the Kidron Merchants Association and was previously president of Kidron Community Council.

“I look forward to servicing the [agriculture commercial] lending needs of the community I grew up in and helping it grow and prosper,” says Troyer. “My goal is to make sure we are meeting the needs of our local farmers and business owners, not only product wise, but also with good service that at the end of the day we can be proud of.”

Bill Shivers, chief commercial lending officer at Farmers National Bank, calls Troyer a perfect fit for the job. States Shivers, “Farmers is a community bank, and that’s what Justin embodies. We’re so glad to have him in this new role.”
