Farmers Named as a Weatherhead 100 Company

CANFIELD, Ohio – Farmers National Banc Corp. has been recognized as a 2017 Weatherhead 100 Company, an award from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Farmers joins a group of businesses throughout Northeast Ohio who represent leadership, growth and success in the region. Companies that make the list are recognized for their percent of revenue growth over the past five years. This marks the first year Farmers has received this distinction.

“This recognition is a testament to the commitment of our 462 employees throughout 42 locations all working toward a shared goal and vision for the future of Farmers National Banc Corp. And it’s a vision I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of,” said Kevin Helmick, president and CEO of Farmers, in a statement.

Since 1988, The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University has recognized companies annually that it says “embody the pursuit of transformational ideas and outstanding leaders for the advancement of business and society.” The 2017 Weatherhead 100 Awards were handed out during a ceremony on Nov. 30.

Farmers has over $2 billion in banking assets, over $1 billion in trust asset, and reported a third-quarter net income of $5.98 million.
