Farmers Bank Hires Shawn Pompelia

CANFIELD, Ohio – Farmers National Bank has hired Shawn Pompelia, a banker with more than 25 years of experience, as vice president and relationship manager in private client services, the company announced Wednesday.

Pompelia will work out of Farmers Trust’s Howland office, 1625 Niles-Cortland Road.

Pompelia began his career in banking in 1990 at Mahoning National Bank, today Huntington National Bank, and most recently was a vice president.

He earned his baccalaureate at Thiel College and is a graduate of the Ohio University School of Banking.

He has been an active volunteer in several nonprofit organizations and as a basketball coach at Warren G. Harding High School. He has also served the Trumbull Memorial Health Foundation and Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber.
