Farmers Trust Hires 2 for Team in Pittsburgh
CANFIELD, Ohio – Farmers Trust Co.is growing its team in the Pittsburgh region with two prominent new hires.
Mark Munson has joined the team as senior vice president, chief fiduciary officer. Igor Golalic is serving as vice president, trust investment portfolio manager.
Before joining Farmers Trust, Munson was a fiduciary regional manager responsible for a four-state area with a super-regional banking institution. Munson was also engaged in the private practice of law in Pittsburgh, where he concentrated on estate planning, estate and trust administration, charitable planning and tax planning for individuals.
A graduate of Gettysburg College with a degree in economics, Munson also earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law. He is past president of the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh and a member of the Probate and Trust Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
Golalic has 25 years of experience in the investment management industry, which includes roles in equity portfolio management and mutual funds with nationally known investment management firms. Before joining Farmers Trust, Golalic was the co-founder and principal of Waterstone Research, an equity consulting firm focused on investment research and analysis.
Golalic is a chartered financial analyst and member of the CFA Institute. He double-majored in business administration and philosophy from Lewis & Clark College and earned his MBA from The Ohio State University.
