FBI Establishes Tip Line for Information on Youngstown City Schools
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Federal Bureau of Investigation in Youngstown and Cleveland is seeking information “about any individuals, vendors, or contractors” who may have received payments from Youngstown City Schools, the law enforcement agency said in a press release Thursday evening.
The FBI is looking for information related to payments for “services not performed or goods not provided or used, or vendors who received funds from the District while paying kickbacks (or “finder’s fees”) to district employees or associates of District employees, from 2019 to the present.”
Those with information are asked to call 800 CALL FBI. Your information will remain confidential.
On Wednesday, the FBI executed search warrants at several locations that included the Youngstown City School District.
