Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland Appoints CIO

CLEVELAND – The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland announced this week that Chandana Kathuria has been appointed senior vice president and chief information officer.

In this role, Kathuria will lead Information Technology Services at the Cleveland Fed. Her duties include business relationship management, advanced computer services, advanced data services, applications development, delivery support services, business of information technology, ITS operations, and information security.

Kathuria most recently served as vice president Global IT at Securitas in Ann Arbor, Mich., and was a member of the executive management team responsible for developing and executing IT strategy for global Pinkerton. Previously, she held leadership positions in IT and information security at NSF International, where she advanced to the position of chief information officer and senior vice president. She began her career in IT as director of drug discovery research at Pfizer.

Kathuria holds a degree in electrical engineering from Delhi College of Engineering in India, and an master’s degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Toledo.
