First Coronavirus Death in Trumbull County
WARREN, Ohio – All three Mahoning Valley counties have reported deaths from the coronavirus after Trumbull County Combined Health District reported the death of a person diagnosed with COVID-19.
No information about the person was disclosed.
“We extend sympathy to the family and friends of this individual and ask that all residents of Trumbull County be mindful of the rapid spread of this disease in the community,” the health department said in a statement. “It is more important now than ever that we take the necessary precautions to suppress the spread of this disease.”
The agency reported four new cases of COVID-19, the disease spread by the coronavirus, bringing the county’s total to 14. Eight are male and six are female. Ages range from 25 to 83 and nine are hospitalized.
