Flashback Minis: DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Youngstown

The DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Youngstown, formerly known as the Stambaugh Building, has gone through several transformations in its lifetime.

The structure was designed by Albert Kahn and built in 1907. In 1914, four additional floors would be added to the building. Then, in the 1980s, it would undergo extensive renovations. By 2012, the building would fall vacant.

However, it would not be empty for long. Once the home for the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. headquarters, it opened its doors once again in 2018 as The Doubletree by Hilton Downtown Youngstown.
