Flashback Minis: General Fireproofing Co.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Youngstown’s General Fireproofing Co. produced fireproof metal building components beginning in 1902. Seven years later, the company began to design and manufacture metal office furniture such as file cabinets, desks, chairs and more out of steel and aluminum.
