Flashback Minis: Medical Saddlebags

Today, if we need to see a doctor we make an appointment and head to the doctors office. However, there was a time when the roles were reversed.

Doctor used to make house calls and would travel to patient homes with all of the necessary equipment for treatment. Some would even travel on horseback.

These saddlebags were used during the 19th century. Doctors used them to carry small tools and medicine bottles.
