Flashback Minis: Ornate Silver Carriage with Horses

Olive and Wilford Arms collected a number of silver pieces over the years. The eye for ornate silver was a trait passed down through the Arms family tree.

In addition to being a decorative piece, the roof of the silver carriage can be removed to act as a box. The sculpture was a gift from the Olive F. A. Arms Estate.

The carriage created Gebruder Neumann in Hesse, Germany. The company was founded in 1926 and the carriage features engrained grapes, the business’ trademark. It also features a crescent and crown, signifying it’s a German-made product.
