Flashback Minis: Poland Schools (Part 1)

POLAND, Ohio — In 1855, a private school was built on College St. in Poland. That location today is now the site of Poland Middle School.

When the 3rd floor of the original 1855 building collapsed after 40 years, a new brick school was built on its foundation in 1897. It would become a public high school in 1909.
