Flynn’s Tire to Build Store at Eastwood Complex
NILES, Ohio – Flynn’s Tire & Auto Service plans to build a 21,000-square-foot service facility on a 1.25 acre site at the section of the Eastwood Mall Complex that fronts state Route 46.
Flynn’s currently operates in a smaller location adjacent to Advance Auto Parts on U.S. Route 422. By relocating, Flynn’s will provide a larger, more modern facility that meets the needs of the local marketplace, the Cafaro Co. said in announcing the new construction.
The two-story structure will encompass a 10,500-square-foot ground floor that will contain a sales area, office space and six double-depth vehicle service bays. The upstairs will provide tire storage area. Construction will begin in the fall, with a projected opening in mid-2023.
“We’re thrilled to be a part of the Eastwood Mall Complex,” said the company’s president, Joe Flynn, “Our new location on Route 46 will be nearly three times larger than our current store, which will give customers more same-day tire options and faster service overall.”
Flynn’s Tire & Auto was founded in 1964 and is owned and operated by the third generation of the Flynn family. The company, headquartered in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, is a retail and wholesale tire distributor with 33 locations in Pennsylvania and Ohio. The company also operates as a wholesale distributor in New York, West Virginia and Maryland.
