FNB Lauded as Quality Workplace by Employees

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – F.N.B. Corp. and its largest subsidiary, First National Bank, have again been recognized as a top workplace for parents and families.

Nationally, Newsweek named FNB to its list of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Parents and Families, making the bank one of only 24 banking and consumer finance companies to appear on the 800-company list.

F.N.B. also received a Greater Pittsburgh Top Workplace Award through the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for the 13th consecutive time.

In a release, F.N.B. attributed its recurrent awards to the company’s commitment to providing benefits, programs and flexibility, which allow employees to effectively balance their personal and professional responsibilities.

“At F.N.B., one of our primary goals is to ensure that our employees and their families have access to a comprehensive suite of benefits so they can achieve work-life balance, care for loved ones, reach their education goals and prepare for a successful retirement,” said Vincent J. Delie Jr., chairman, president and chief executive officer of F.N.B. Corp. and First National Bank. “By maintaining our culture and providing superior benefits, we foster engagement and happiness for our employees, which ultimately contributes not only to the recognition we have earned both externally and from our team, but also to our financial success.”

The Newsweek award comes after a large-scale employer study conducted by Plant-A Insights Group, which looked at more than 224,000 company reviews from more than 36,000 parents and single parents. Those surveyed evaluated eight categories: company image, corporate culture, working environment, work-life balance, training and career progression, compensation and benefits, sustainability awareness and proactive management of the diverse workforce.

Only companies based in the U.S. and with 1,000 or more employees qualified.

The Top Workplace Award is determined by employee feedback compiled by Energage, a leading research firm specializing in organizational health and workplace improvement.

In addition to the Top Workplace Award in Pittsburgh, where F.N.B. is headquartered, the company has been nationally recognized in 2023 as a Top Workplace USA, Top Workplace for Financial Services and Top Workplace National Culture Excellence Awards winner. Regionally, F.N.B. was honored as a Top Workplace in South Carolina and in northeastern Ohio.
