FNB Named to Forbes List of World’s Top Banks
PITTSBURGH – First National Bank has been named to Forbes magazine’s list of the world’s best banks, one of just 75 U.S.-based banks to earn the ranking.
“We are extremely proud to take our place among the World’s Best Banks because the recognition is based on our customers’ experience with FNB and their confidence in our Company,” said FNB President and CEO Vincent J. Delie Jr. in a statement. “The ranking’s emphasis on digital services ties into the essential role banks have played for customers and communities navigating the challenges of the pandemic, and FNB will continue to leverage both our innovative technology and consultative approach to provide all our stakeholders with tools to succeed and reach their goals.”
Forbes’ list of the globe’s top 500 banks was conducted with Statista and surveyed more than 43,000 consumers in 28 countries. Respondents ranked banks on overall customer satisfaction and how likely they were to recommend the bank, as well as subcategories including trust, customer service, digital service and financial advice.
Earlier this year, FNB was ranked on the magazine’s list of best banks in the country. It’s also been recognized by Top Workplace USA and by Greenwich Excellence and Best Brands Awards for national and regional honors.
On Wednesday, F.N.B. Corp., the bank’s parent company, announced a 12-cent cash dividend. The dividend is payable on June 15 to shareholders of record June 1.
The company will announce its first-quarter financial results after the close of business April 19.
