Former Toys R Us Building Sold for $2.89 Million After 6 Months
BOARDMAN, Ohio — The building that houses Harbor Freight and Party Place on Boardman Poland Road has sold to a Texas developer for $2.89 million, according to documents from the Mahoning County Auditor’s website.
Dallas-based NS Retail Holdings, LLC purchased the building that housed Toys R Us until 2018 from Rhino Holdings Boardman LLC on May 23, according to documents filed with the auditor’s office. Rhino Holdings Boardman LLC, a Nevada-based developer, bought the building listed at 317 Boardman Poland Rd. in November for $2 million.
An online real estate posting by Matthews Real Estate Investment Services states that the 48,645 square foot space is 45% leased with Harbor Freight Tools as the anchor. The posting states that Harbor Freight recently signed a 10-year extension to be at the site with long-term options in place and rental increases.
