Forward Lawrence to Present Impact Awards Sept. 16
NEW CASTLE, Pa. — This year’s Forward Lawrence Impact Award recipients have been announced.
The annual Impact Awards, to be presented Sept 16, celebrate local success and community champions. This year’s recipients include Keystone Compliance, Apple Castle, Wampum Hardware Co., the Western Pennsylvania Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee, and the Ellwood Quality Steels Melt Shop.
The May Emma Hoyt Foundation will receive the Community Champion award.
In addition, Gayle Young, executive director of the United Way Lawrence County, is set to receive the inaugural Sam Biasucci Leadership Award for Board Service, and Amy McKinney, director of the Lawrence County Planning Department, will receive the inaugural Robert DelSignore Award for Leadership in Public Service.
The event will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16 at Medure’s Villa banquet center, 2500 New Butler Road in New Castle. RSVPs are needed by Sept. 2 to [email protected] or by calling 724-658-1488.
