Forward Lawrence Unveils, Seeks Input on Draft Assessment

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — The public is invited to review and comment on draft recommendations prepared by Garner Economics LLC for the Forward Lawrence initiative. 

Announced in September 2019, Forward Lawrence is an initiative launched by the Lawrence County Regional Chamber of Commerce involving a community assessment to produce recommendations that would serve as the basis for the chamber’s next program of work. 

The draft is available HERE for review. Community members are invited to share their feedback during a pair of virtual sessions scheduled for 8 to 9 a.m. Nov. 4 or noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 5, in person from noon to 1 p.m. at PA CareerLink’s Lawrence County office, 101 S. Mercer St. 

Feedback will be received through Nov. 9, then shared with Garner Economics in preparation for its final report and presentation to be delivered Dec. 1.
