Foundation Lounge in Downtown Youngstown Will Close

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Foundation Lounge, located in the lower level of the City Centre One building, downtown, will close at the end of April.

The decision was announced Tuesday in a post on the bar’s Facebook page.

The Foundation Lounge, owned by Chris Childers, had been open for about three years. The City Centre One building is at the corner of East Federal and North Champion streets.

Three special events are scheduled in the remaining weeks:

• April 14: Party with DJ Be Delicious;

• April 21: Bartell’s Tokyo House night;

• April 28: Last call karaoke party (final night).

The Foundation Lounge was just the latest incarnation of the bar, which has had several names and owners over the years.
