Foundations Open New Round of Funding for COVID Relief Grants

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Applications are now being accepted for the new round of COVID-19 response and stabilization grants from local foundations.

Through the form, available HERE, nonprofit organizations can submit grant to three area foundations – Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, The Raymond John Wean Foundation and The Youngstown Foundation – at once. Applications are also available on each foundation’s website.

Applications can be submitted to any combination of the three foundations. The Community Foundation grants focus on crisis relief and immediate needs, while the Wean Foundation focuses on stabilization and rebuilding local communities and The Youngstown Foundation on crisis relief and stabilization.

Created in the spring of 2020 as a response to the coronavirus pandemic, grant applications through the common form resulted in 104 grant awards totaling $1.6 million.
