Four YSU Business Students Named Beeghly Fellows
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Four students in the Williamson College of Business Administration have been named Beeghly Fellows for the current semester: Jenna Binsely, Alanis Chew, Richard Fisher and Ryan Sheffield.
The students will work at the Ohio Small Business Development Center at Youngstown State University on projects including market reseraching, preparing financial statements, export readiness studies, business plan development and cash flow analysis.
“We are extremely grateful to the John D. Beeghly Family for making this generous investment in our business students,” said Betty Jo Licata, dean of Williamson College. “Providing our students with career-related experience contributes to the success of our regional businesses and the professional preparation of our students.”
Binsely is studying marketing with a minor in nonprofit leadership and advertising and public relations. She’s also a student assistant in YSU’s dental hygiene department and a member of the honors college, Phi Kappa Phi and Student Nonprofit Leadership Organization. In addition to being a peer assistant in the Honors College, she’s also president of Beta Gamma Sigma, the Association for Women in Mathematics and the Amateur Radio Club. Set to graduate in May 2021, Chew aims for a career in business analytics.
