Foxconn, YSU to Launch National EV Training & Innovation Center
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Youngstown State University President Jim Tressel was joined Wednesday by Rick Rajaie, vice president of operations for Foxconn North America, to sign an agreement on creating an electric vehicle training and innovation center.
According to Tressel, the center will create a national public/private training hub focused on emerging EV industry needs.
“The center will serve to support all of industry having a national reach while generating a strong economical impact for our region, our state and beyond,” Tressel said.
