Francisco Turns Internships into Full-Time at 898 Marketing

CANFIELD, Ohio – In January 2020, 898 Marketing brought a new intern class on board for the spring semester. Less than two months later, the office experienced a shutdown due to COVID-19 and team members began working from home. That experience was much different for the students hoping to learn and gain first-hand experience in person. Among those interns was, Michael Francisco, who then had his internship extended for additional experience and was recently named a full-time account coordinator at 898 Marketing.

Francisco graduated in May from Youngstown State University with a B.S.B.A. degree, a major in advertising and public relations and a minor in marketing management. He’s an alumnus of Ursuline High School. In his new role, Francisco will assist in the development of social content for a variety of clients.

“Being an intern with 898 Marketing only confirmed that this was the only place I wanted to be,” says Francisco. “I’m surrounded by such a special group of people who I know will help me and our clients succeed. I can’t wait to continue to grow and learn here as an official team member of this great company.”
