Fringe Benefit Services Adds New Location, Agents

SHARON, Pa. – This has been a year of changes and growth for Fringe Benefit Services.

John Wallace, founder and president, recently announced an expansion of the insurance agency with the opening of its new office in New Castle, Pa. This marks the first expansion of the agency since Wallace started it in 1970 as Wallace Insurance Agency.

The location of the new office, 2416-A Wilmington Road, was chosen to help serve the agency’s current clients in Lawrence, Butler and Beaver counties while offering the ability to expand in a still underserved market, a news release states.

The new office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Fringe Benefit Services will host an open house the week of Oct. 7 and is inviting the community to “stop by to share some coffee and cookies to help celebrate the expansion.” A Taste of New Castle basket will be raffled off Oct. 10. Entries are available at the office now.

Fringe Benefit Services has also added two agents to its staff this year, including Matthew Wallace, who is the third generation of the Wallace family working at the agency. He has joined his grandfather, John; father, Richard; and uncle, Brian. Kasey Walter of Sharon, Pa., joined the agency in September 2023 and became a licensed agent in July.

The agency now has over 50 agents.

“I am proud of everything we have been able to do for our clients,” John Wallace said. “Our additional location and new agents are going to allow us to serve our current area along with the New Castle and Lawrence County region for many years to come.”
