Fund for Our Economic Future Hires Bevel, Karousis
CLEVELAND – The Fund for Our Economic Future this week announced two new members of its staff, Erskine Bevel, director of operations, and Reanna Karousis, director of communications and engagement.
Bevel brings a strong professional background in finance and accounting, most recently having served as the chief financial officer and vice president of administration at Cleveland Neighborhood Progress. Before this role, he worked as a global procurement controller for Ernst & Young with an extensive career in financial analysis and forecasting. Erskine earned an MBA from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Dayton.
Karousis joined the Fund as director of communications and engagement earlier this summer. She previously led project management and communications around the Fund’s “Where Are the Workers?” initiative through Collective Reach, her communications consultancy. She has also worked with the Fund on several other key communications efforts in recent years. In her previous communications role at the Cuyahoga County prosecutor’s office, she coordinated national media relations, grant-writing and collaboration around the efforts to eliminate the sexual assault kit backlog, among other projects. She holds bachelor’s degree in journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University.
