Fusillo Catering Donations to Provide 1,000 Meals at Rescue Mission

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A monetary donation from Mark Fusillo, owner and certified executive chef of Fusillo Catering Inc., will provide 1,000 holiday meals to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley.

A representative of the Rescue Mission said the donation is about $2,500.

The donation is a housewarming gift for the Rescue Mission’s new building at 1300 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., which celebrated its grand opening Nov. 12. Fusillo said he’s in a place where he can help others at this point in his career.

“Thanksgiving was always my favorite holiday growing up,” Fusillo said. “It is family oriented. Having a meal together, watching football…it’s home felt.”

“We are thankful to the Lord for partners like Mark and his generous heart,” said John Muckridge, president and CEO of the Rescue Mission.
