Gasearch Marks 15 Years in Business
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Gasearch LLC, which offers energy-based services to customers throughout Northeast Ohio, is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year.
The company, based at 4991 Belmont Ave., purchases and delivers natural gas on the Dominion East Ohio local distribution system. Customers of the firm, which was founded in 2000, include large and small commercial and industrial accounts such as steel mills, schools, universities, hospitals, restaurants, manufacturing facilities and nursing care centers.
Gasearch serves Ashland, Mahoning, Medina, Monroe, Portage, Stark, Summit, Washington and Wayne counties, as well as parts of Ashtabula, Belmont, Columbiana, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Holmes, Knox, Lake and Trumbull counties.
“We pride ourselves in supplying only locally produced natural gas from the East Ohio region,” said Eric Wright, president. “By buying locally produced gas, we eliminate the heavy transportation costs associated with the interstate pipeline, and we pass that savings on to our customers.” Wright is part of a management team that includes Chris Baum, business development manager, and Wayne Ensor, senior market analyst, who head an experienced team of professionals.
The company has consistently maintained a 98% customer retention rate since its inception, according to its president. Wright credits the company’s ability to stay competitive to a combination of competitive rates and reliable service.
“We are proud of our knowledgeable team of experts who provide our customers with the market information and support they need to make intelligent, informed energy decisions,” he said. “We couldn’t have made it this far without their dedication and hard work.”
