Gaughan to Study in Hanoi as Fulbright Scholar

Patrick Gaughan, a consulting entrepreneur for the Youngstown Business Incubator and assistant dean of global engagement at the University of Akron, has been accepted as a Fulbright Scholar at Hanoi Law University for the 2020 spring term. While in Vietnam, Gaughan plans to expand institutional relationships and continue his research in business and comparative law. His research includes extensive reliance upon computer data mining, fuzzy logic and artificial intelligence — all of which he continues to develop at the YBI. Says Barb Ewing, CEO of the incubator, “Patrick has been a great friend to the YBI for many years in addition to being an astounding entrepreneur. We’re thrilled to be able to share in his success.”
