Gearhart’s Book Breaks Through Best-Seller List
BOARDMAN, Ohio – A month after the release of Breaking Through the Status Quo, a book discussing health-care and employee benefits featuring DCW Group partner Bob Gearhart Jr., has reached the Amazon best-seller list.
The book reached No. 22 among all nonfiction books on Amazon’s Kindle Store, as well as No. 1 on the Insurance, Business, and Health categories.
“We always intended to share the book with clients and prospects locally, but I’ve been blown away by the number of requests we’ve received from other benefit advisors from across the country” said Gearhart Jr. “Going against the status quo is never comfortable but it’s been reassuring knowing that other benefit advisors are so hungry to do right by their clients.”
The book has 32 chapters, each written by a member of NextGeneration Benefits Network. Gearhart’s chapter is “Lessons Learned,” focusing on three stories about companies outside the industry that are facing parallel dilemmas as health insurance consumers.
Following the release of the book, Gearhart was invited to speak at the World Healthcare Congress, held in Washington, D.C., in April.
