Gifas Joins First National Bank as Director of Treasury Management

PITTSBURGH – First National Bank, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corporation, announced this week the hiring of James Gifas as senior vice president, director of treasury management and payments.

Gifas is responsible for FNB’s treasury management, commercial card and merchant services businesses. He oversees sales, product management, business development, customer service and operations for commercial and government clients across FNB’s multistate footprint.

Joining FNB with three decades of banking experience, Gifas has served in varying roles with Citibank, Deutsche Bank, RBS Citizens Bank, First Data Corporation, M&T Bank and CIT Group. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Iona College and was selected to study strategic risk and managing value creation through a leadership program at the Wharton School of Business.
