GLI Pool Products to Celebrate 10 Years
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – GLI Pool Products, a privately held manufacturer of swimming pool liners, covers and cleaning equipment, will celebrate its 10th anniversary here with a company picnic Friday.
“We thank our GLI associates as well as the people and the city of Youngstown for the past 10 years – it has been great, says the company’s president and owner, Gary Crandall. “The next 10 years will be even better.”
The company operates its plant at 215 Sinter Court in the River Bend Industrial Park. It uses lean manufacturing processes to manufacture and ship worldwide custom pool liners and safety covers in 72 hours or less.
“Predictable supply in a season business is a service that our customers have come to appreciate when working with GLI,” said Crandall in a statement announcing the anniversary event. Youngstown Mayor John McNally is expected to attend the company picnic and present the company with the key to the city.
GLI sells the majority of its products through 450 wholesale pool distributors and 1,500 swimming pool retailers, builders and service companies.
The company employs 220.
