Glunt Industries Names Salama Its New CEO

WARREN, Ohio – Glunt Industries Inc. this week appointed Asaf Salama as its new CEO.

Salama, a native of Detroit, earned an MBA in operations management from The University of Michigan. He specializes in lean manufacturing, leadership, and product development.

“We are excited to welcome Asaf to lead our Glunt Industries team to new heights,” says Ginger Nolen, human resources director. “His extensive operational experience and skills in manufacturing will be a great asset to our company while helping us reach new markets.”

Glunt Industries, founded in 1966, refurbishes and repairs steel equipment used by steel and aluminum mills. The company also constructs, fabricates and upgrades all types of steel mill equipment.

Glunt Industries operates four plants totaling over 225,000 square feet of production space with more than 80 units of CNC equipment.
